Join the Triad Hokies for a speaker event with Ryan Williams ‘05, an assistant professor in the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech. Williams works with drone technology and has expertise in control systems, motion planning, unmanned aerial vehicles and multi-agent systems.
He will discuss his extensive work with drones and how they can be effective in search and rescue efforts of lost individuals. Williams received his bachelor of science in computer engineering from Virginia Tech in 2005 and a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California is 2014. Complimentary appetizers will be provided.
