About the Scholarship PDF Print E-mail

Each year, the NC Triad Alumni Chapter awards at least one scholarship to an incoming student from the Triad Area.

This scholarship is a one-time award, extended only to matriculating seniors who will be attending Virginia Tech.

Scholarship Requirements PDF Print E-mail

Below are the minimum requirements to be considered for a scholarship:

  • A model citizen involved in extra-curricular activities
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.4 or better
  • An SAT score of 1200 or better

Additionally, candidates applying for the NC Triad VTAA scholarship will have been accepted to Virginia Tech.  

Once all applications of have been received, the scholarship committe will review the applications, and invite finalists to an interview.  That interview will be the final step.
