Seasons Greetings Hokies

We had a great social event on Thursday December 10th at Cityview Clubhouse in Greensboro where we collected items donated by our membership for our adopted family through United Way. There were approximately 30 people who attended, and everyone had a great time and I think we all felt good about giving back to the community during the holiday season. This was a minority family which had recently fallen on hard times and had many current needs. Thanks to all of those who provided gifts, gift cards and essential items for this family. I am working on an update on how the family is doing. I will let you know if I am able to find out more information.

Our next alumni meeting is scheduled for Monday January 11th at the Embassy Suites at the airport exit at I-40. The social half hour will begin at 6:00 and the meeting will begin at 6:30. There is no cost to attend and no cost to be a member of  the VT Alumni Association.
